Tucson, AZ – Vehicle Collides with Home Near North La Cholla Boulevard


Tucson, AZ (June 17, 2019) – On June 15th, a vehicle crashed into a home near North La Cholla Boulevard and West Shaffer Place, just before 5:00 a.m.

According to officials, the driver, Jose Diaz-Delacruz, 18, was driving under the influence when he crashed into the home. Diaz-Delacruz’s vehicle went airborne and hit the front of the structure, damaging the wall above and adjacent to the front door.

No injuries were sustained in the incident, but Diaz-Delacruz was arrested for criminal damage, DUI, and a minor in consumption in connection with the crash.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the accident.
