Tucson, AZ (December 12, 2019) – Officers with the Tucson Police Department have released further details in a fatal collision that happened on Wednesday.

According to information from the TPD, both adult drivers involved in the multi-car crash were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Since officers first reported on the accident, the female driver succumbed to her injuries. The male driver is still hospitalized and suffering from serious non-life threatening injuries.

The two-vehicle crash occurred near the intersection between Speedway Boulevard and Huntington Park Drive around 6:50 p.m. Authorities are still investigating the crash at this time.
