Tucson, AZ (September 19, 2019) – Around 6:50 p.m. last night, September 18th, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department investigated a two-vehicle crash with injuries.

Police were dispatched to the scene of the accident at the intersection of West Valencia and Camino de la Tierra. While there, they discovered that two vehicles had forcefully collided with one another when traveling through the intersection. Police are not sure of the exact circumstances leading up to the collision.

One person was immediately transported to the hospital by ambulance, although their injuries are reported to be non-life threatening.

The intersection was closed down for quite some time with a police presence in the area. It was finally reopened last night around 10:50 p.m.

Our thoughts are extended to the injured victim and their family.
