Tucson, AZ (February 25, 2020) – Officers from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a serious two-vehicle crash that occurred in southeast Tucson on Tuesday.

The PCSD said both drivers were taken to the hospital via ambulance with serious injuries. Motorists were advised to avoid the area while officers investigated, though the cause of the wreck and the victims’ identities have not been released. The wreck happened around 5:00 p.m. at Wilmot Road and Valencia Road, causing both roads to close for several hours.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
