Tucson, AZ (August 27, 2019) – The Arizona Department of Transportation has claimed that a serious car accident caused injuries to a deputy on Highway 90 yesterday, August 26.

The accident was so severe that the police said that it initially closed the roadway. One of the deputies was involved in an accident in the northbound lanes of the highway in the area of Airport Road.

Police claim that the deputy was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries but that there has been no update on his condition. No other parties were injured in the accident.

Sierra Vista Police continue to investigate the circumstances leading to the crash.
