Tucson, AZ – Police Seeking Bruce Stocker After Deadly Crash at Snyder Rd


Tucson, AZ (January 9, 2020) – Authorities are searching for a driver that they say is responsible for a crash that killed a girl and a woman on Saturday.

Bruce Stocker, 40, left an area hospital on Monday while being treated for injuries from the crash. He faces charges of second-degree murder, aggravated assault, aggravated DUI, and aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer after the accident. On January 4, Pima County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the rollover collision around 6:00 p.m. on Snyder Road, just west of Houghton Road.

Paloma Gavino, 26, and a 13-year-old girl in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. Stocker and two other passengers in his vehicle were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to a department news release.

Anyone with information about Stocker’s current whereabouts is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME, an anonymous tip line.
