Tucson, AZ (July 20, 2020) – Officers from the Tucson Police Department said that injuries were reported in a serious vehicle crash on Interstate 10 on Monday afternoon.

Per reports from the TPD, the accident occurred on I-10 eastbound, near the Grand Road exit. It appears that a large truck may have collided with at least one other vehicle, though it’s unclear how the crash occurred. Details released by the Arizona Department of Public Safety indicated that the wreck occurred in the left lanes of the highway. Officials from the Arizona Department of Public Safety also noted that the crash happened just after 1:30 p.m.

Tucson EMTs were dispatched to the scene shortly after the accident occurred and treated victims, but they have not released further information on the victims and have not commented on the extent of those victims’ injuries.

The crash is still under investigation at this time.
