Tucson, AZ (December 2, 2019) – A portion of the Ajo Way/Interstate 19 interchange was closed early Monday after a two-vehicle injury accident.
The Tucson Police Department said the accident involved a motorized bicycle and another vehicle. According to officers with the Tucson Police Department, the victim was transported by Tucson paramedics to a local area hospital. Officers worked to determine the cause of the wreck, and traffic was restricted in the westbound lanes while crews cleared the wreckage.
Officer Frank Magos, a Tucson Police Department spokesman, did not give any updates on the victim’s current condition or the extent of the other drivers’ injuries.
