Tucson, AZ – Car Wreck Damages Home & Causes Injuries at Mountain Ave

Tucson, AZ (October 13, 2019) – A car crashed into a home in central Tucson on Thursday afternoon, causing extensive damages and injuries.

Officers from the Tucson Police Department shut down Northbound Mountain Avenue near Grant Road to investigate the accident, which occurred after a passenger car was involved in a collision with another car. Following the wreck, the vehicle then crashed into a nearby residence. No serious injuries were reported, though it appears that paramedics arrived on the scene to treat at least one victim.

News video showed a large hole in the home’s street-facing wall. The car was still partially inside the house when the video was taken. Motorists were advised to avoid the area while authorities worked to investigate. The current conditions of the victims and their identities have not been released.

Our thoughts are with those involved in the accident, including the injured victims and their families. We hope for their full recovery.
