Tempe, AZ (August 20, 2019) – On Monday night, August 19, a rear-end accident involving a drunk driver took place at the intersection of Baseline Road and Kyrene Road.

Officers were called to investigate after they received calls about an erratic driver in the area of Baseline Road and Kyrene Road. Officers then discovered that the same vehicle had allegedly rear-ended another one in the area after traveling at a high rate of speed.

When police arrived, they found that one person was seriously injured and another had minor injuries. The driver who had been driving erratically had not been wearing a seatbelt.

Police believe that the driver might have been drunk driving at the time, but they continue their investigation into the accident.
