Tempe, AZ (July 3, 2020) – Officials from the Tempe Police Department and Tempe Fire responded to an accident on Interstate 10 Friday morning.

According to reports from authorities at the scene, at least three vehicles were involved in the crash, including one SUV and one sedan. The wreck occurred on I-10 Maricopa at Elliot Road in Tempe when the sedan rear-ended the SUV in the right lanes of westbound I-10. Paramedics from a local Tempe hospital responded to the wreck to assist the injured victims and may have transported at least one person to the hospital via ambulance.

Investigators are still determining the cause of the wreck and have not released any additional information at this time.
