Tempe, AZ (September 16, 2019) – On Monday evening, a multi-vehicle crash resulting in injuries occurred on Interstate 10 near 7th Street.
According to officials from the Tempe Police Department and Tempe Fire Rescue, at least two vehicles were involved in the wreck. Authorities say that the accident occurred when multiple vehicles were traveling in the right lanes of westbound I-10 and collided in a chain-reaction crash. Tempe Paramedics arrived at the scene to transport at least one victim to an area hospital.
Two of the vehicles sustained extensive damage and were moved to the shoulder of the highway as first responders arrived. According to officials on the scene, none of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening but the crash investigation is ongoing.
