Tempe, AZ (January 5, 2020) – Five people were transported to a hospital after a multi-vehicle crash in Tempe on Sunday morning. 

According to officers from the Tempe Police Department, the two-vehicle accident happened at Broadway Road and Rural Road. Three adults were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, and a 10-year-old girl was also transported with serious injuries. Another child, a 7-year-old boy, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

All southbound traffic on Rural Road was restricted at Vista Del Cerro while police investigated the cause of the crash.
