Scottsdale, AZ (June 26, 2020) – A crash causing injuries forced a portion of Loop 202 near Scottsdale to close Friday afternoon.

Scottsdale police said an initial investigation indicated that two cars traveling eastbound on L-202 collided, causing a chain-reaction crash in the left and center lanes. The wreck occurred just after 7:00 p.m., though the cause of the wreck wasn’t immediately known. appears at least one victim was transported to the hospital via ambulance with minor injuries, though further details on their condition have not been released.
