Scottsdale, AZ – 2-Car Wreck Causes Injuries on L-101 at Raintree Dr

Scottsdale, AZ (September 14, 2019) – Two vehicles collided on Arizona State Route 101 at Raintree Drive on Saturday afternoon, resulting in at least one injury that required hospitalization.

Officials from the Scottsdale Police Department said the wreck happened at 6:15 p.m. when a black Ford pickup was rear-ended by a silver Acura sedan, causing it to spin out and come to a stop at the road barrier next to the HOV lane. Both vehicles were traveling southbound when the wreck occurred.

Parademics from an area hospital responded to the wreck, treating one victim at the scene and transporting another via ambulance to the hospital.

The drivers’ information and conditions of all parties involved have not yet been released.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.

Injurious Collisions in Arizona

The Arizona Department of Transportation’s recent accident report showed that in 2018, there were nearly 130,000 motor vehicle crashes across the state. Of these crashes, almost 37,000 involved two or more injured persons in need of medical care or even hospitalization.

Those suffering from crash injuries often experience both physical and mental trauma. Whether it’s documenting their injuries, negotiating with insurance companies, or even taking an extended leave from their jobs, victims must cope with a number of stressful circumstances. However, victims and their families can seek help from a personal injury lawyer, especially if they’ve been involved in a crash that occurred due to the negligent actions of another driver.
