Scottsdale, AZ (July 29, 2019) – A multi-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon, July 29th, closed the HOV and left lanes of Loop 101 southbound near Chaparral Road.

Authorities were on the scene of the crash on L-101, also called the Pima Freeway, around 5:45 p.m. The multi-vehicle accident occurred in the southbound lanes near Chaparral Road in Scottsdale and appeared to involve at least two vehicles, including a work van. Police and fire rescue units responded to the injury wreck to assist victims and determine the cause of the collision.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recoveries.

Multi-Vehicle Crashes in Arizona

Nearly 55,000 crashes and over 35,000 accident injuries occurred throughout the state of Arizona in 2018, part of a continuous year-over-year rise in severe wrecks since 2016. More than half of these crashes were rear-end collisions and included at least one injury.

Costly medical bills, serious long-term injuries, and even job loss are some of the tragic, unforeseen consequences that may plague victims and their families after a wreck. But those affected by these collisions can contact a Phoenix injury accident lawyer for help, and in some cases, seek the fair compensation they deserve from a personal injury or wrongful death lawsuit.
