Scottsdale, AZ – Car Accident in Eastbound Lanes on AZ-101 Loop

Scottsdale, AZ (September 24, 2019) – Early this morning, police responded to the scene of a car accident causing massive delays in Scottsdale on the AZ-101 Loop.

According to police, the accident happened for unknown reasons when multiple vehicles became involved in a chain-reaction crash in the eastbound lanes of the highway. The accident was so severe that it blocked the right lane on the transition ramp for several hours before the police had it fully cleared.

The accident involved at least two or more sedans that may have been following too closely in traffic where delays were heavy. However, police are still taking a closer look at the circumstances of the accident.

Paramedics assisted at the scene, though we do not know the conditions of the parties involved. At this time, police have confirmed that their investigation into the accident is ongoing.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families in hopes of a full recovery.
