Phoenix, AZ (March 17, 2020) – A woman was injured when she was hit by a car on Monday evening near 15th Avenue and Hatcher Road.

According to officers from the Phoenix Police Department, the collision occurred around 7:00 p.m. Police said the 40-year-old woman was taken to the hospital via ambulance with injuries that were serious but not life-threatening.

The driver, a 58-year-old man, remained at the location after the crash, and police said he suffered minor injuries.

The investigation is still ongoing.
