Phoenix, AZ – Car Crash Blocks 2 Lanes on Rt 60

Phoenix, AZ (September 4, 2019) – On Wednesday evening, a two-car accident blocked the HOV lane and left lane of US 60 near Mesa.

Police reported that one pickup truck and one sedan collided in the left lanes of US 60 just before Dobson Road. According to authorities, the accident occurred during rush hour, around 6:00 p.m., and slowed traffic on US 60, also referred to as the Superstition Highway.

First responders were at the scene of the accident and assisted the injured victims of the two-car crash, but they did not release details about the victims’ injuries.

Police gathered information of both drivers at the scene, though any identifying information remains unknown at this time. The investigation of the wreck is ongoing.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.

Injury Collisions in Arizona

Unfortunately, car accidents take place on Arizona roads each day, occasionally leading to serious consequences for victims. In fact, according to a recent crash fact summary from the Arizona Department of Transportation, nearly 37,000 injury collisions occurred last year alone.

Injury collisions can mean long-term stresses for victims and their families, especially when those wrecks are the fault of other drivers’ negligent actions. Thankfully, victims and their families can seek help from a personal injury lawyer. Attorneys in Arizona can help both victims and their families seek justice and the fair compensation they deserve from a personal injury lawsuit.
