Phoenix, AZ – Truck Accident Leads to Fatality and Injury on I-10


Phoenix, AZ (September 5, 2019) – On Wednesday night, September 4th, police responded to the scene of a truck accident that led to the fatality of one person on Interstate 10.

The accident, according to police, took place during strong winds in the area, which caused many drivers to lose control. The accident took place around 8 p.m. The Arizona Department of Public Safety reported that strong winds blew two eastbound trucks pulling box trailers into the westbound lanes.

One person was killed instantly at the scene of the accident, while another was seriously injured.

Police said the road was blocked for several hours while the scene was cleared. Their investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
