Phoenix, AZ (October 17, 2019) – On Monday, police reported that a serious car accident took place in Phoenix that led to a fatality and injuries. The accident occurred on an unspecified road.

Though details regarding the accident are limited, police claim that Thomas Rodriguez and his girlfriend were traveling with their dog to the Grand Canyon when their vehicle collided with another.

The couple received serious injuries and both of them were flown to Flagstaff for treatment. Another party in a second vehicle was killed at the scene of the accident, though they have not yet been identified.

Police claim that Rodriguez’s dog went missing at the time of the accident and they are still searching for the dog.

The cause of the accident is under investigation at this time.
