Phoenix, AZ (July 9, 2020) – At least one person was injured in a rear-end crash on Interstate 10 on Thursday afternoon.

Per reports from the Phoenix Police Department, one person was treated at the scene by Phoenix EMTs and another appeared to be transported to an area hospital after the multi-car accident, which occurred in the right lanes of the highway, as well as the off-ramp west of 7th Avenue. Multiple units from the Phoenix Fire Department were at the scene to assist victims shortly after the wreck occurred at 6:30 p.m.

Authorities say that at least three vehicles were involved in the crash, but the cause of the accident is unclear.

Authorities say that the crash investigation is ongoing at this time; however, the drivers’ information, as well as the extent of the injuries, remains unknown.
