Phoenix, AZ (June 4, 2020) – Phoenix police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Thursday night.

Per authorities with the Phoenix Police Department, the wreck happened around 7:00 p.m. at the intersection of 35th Avenue and Buckeye Road. The crash involved two drivers, and video from the crash scene showed an SUV and a yellow car, both with extensive damage.

Officers haven’t said how many people were involved, though they say that at least one person died at the scene.

The intersection was closed for several hours while the investigation was underway. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
