Phoenix, AZ (August 5, 2019) – A multi-vehicle crash on Monday evening, August 5th, blocked the right lane of traffic on Interstate 17 near Glendale Avenue.

According to information from officials at the scene, the crash occurred around 8:16 p.m., after multiple vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of I-17, also known as the Black Canyon Freeway. Police and fire rescue units responded to the injury accident. First responders assisted injured victims and were investigating the cause of the collision, which appeared to involve at least two vehicles.

The drivers’ information and their current conditions have not been released at this time. All lanes reopened just after 9:00 p.m.
