Phoenix, AZ (August 23, 2019) – A multi-vehicle wreck blocked several lanes on Interstate 10 approaching State Route 143 on Friday afternoon, August 23rd.
Officials say that the accident occurred when several sedans collided in the left lanes of I-10 eastbound approaching State Route 143 around 12:45 p.m. Police and fire rescue units responded to the scene and were assisting injured victims. However, authorities were still working to determine the cause of the crash and have not released the drivers’ information at this time.
All lanes reopened by 2:00 p.m., though traffic remained slow in the area.
