Phoenix, AZ – Multi-Vehicle Wreck Blocks I-10 at 43rd Ave

Phoenix, AZ (July 27, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident on Saturday afternoon, July 27th, blocked the right lanes of I-10 eastbound near 43rd Avenue.

Authorities were on the scene to investigate the accident around 5:53 p.m., which occurred when multiple vehicles traveling eastbound collided on I-10, also known as the Papago Freeway. Fire rescue units and police officers were assisting victims at the scene of the wreck, which appeared to involve at least two vehicles.

The right lane cleared around 7:00 p.m. but the traffic backup was still heavy in the area and the drivers’ information, as well as their conditions, had not been released.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recoveries.

Injury Accidents in Arizona

Nearly 55,000 crashes and over 35,000 accident injuries occurred throughout Arizona in 2018, part of a year-over-year increase in severe wrecks since 2016. But those affected can contact a Phoenix car accident lawyer for help, and in some cases, seek justice and their fair compensation from a personal injury or wrongful death lawsuit.
