Phoenix, AZ – Multi-Vehicle Crash Causes Backup on I-17 at Black Canyon City


Phoenix, AZ (July 14, 2019) – A multi-vehicle crash on Sunday afternoon, July 14th, caused miles of traffic backup on southbound I-17 near Black Canyon City.

According to officials, the auto accident occurred around 2:32 p.m. and appeared to involve multiple vehicles. Police and fire rescue authorities were on the scene to assist injured victims and investigate the cause of the crash.

The incident occurred around milepost 244 and caused several miles of traffic to stall. Authorities are still investigating the crash at this time and have not released the identities of the victims or their current conditions.
