Phoenix, AZ – Multi-Vehicle Crash Blocks L-101 Lane Near 16th St


Phoenix, AZ (July 20, 2019) – A multi-vehicle crash on Saturday night, July 20th, blocked the left lane of L-101 near 16th Street.

According to authorities, the injury accident occurred when several vehicles traveling westbound on L-101, also known as the Pima Freeway, collided around 11:50 p.m. Fire rescue and police units responded to the scene to assist the victims and investigate the cause of the crash. At least two vehicles appeared to be involved in the wreck.

Officials are still investigating the cause of the accident but have not released the victims’ information.
