Officials reported that the multi-vehicle injury accident occurred on US-60 eastbound, also known as AZ-77, at milepost 294 around 5:00 p.m. Police and fire rescue units were on the scene to investigate and assist the victims of the crash, which was located between Show Low and Globe. Officials have not released details about the vehicles involved or victims at this time.

According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, approximately 55,000 injuries and more than 1,000 fatalities occurred in 2018 alone as a result of vehicle crashes across the state.
