Phoenix, AZ (March 26, 2020) – A crash involving multiple vehicles occurred on Thursday afternoon, closing part of the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway in Phoenix and resulting in possible serious injuries.

Officials say that the crash occurred around 3:00 p.m. in the area of northbound Loop 202 and Buckeye Road in the left lanes. Phoenix Fire Department information stated that at least one person may have been transported to a local area hospital via ambulance, though more information was not immediately available.

The accident remains under investigation.
