Phoenix, AZ (December 9, 2019) – Injuries were reported after a multi-vehicle collision on State Route 51 near McDowell Road on Monday evening.

Officers from the Phoenix Police Department arrived on the scene shortly after the collision to investigate. It appears that the wreck started from a rear-end collision in the southbound right lanes of AZ-51, just before McDowell Road, around 9:00 p.m.

Paramedics treated at least one victim at the scene and transported another victim to an area hospital.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
