Phoenix, AZ – Multi-Car Crash Causes Injuries on I-17 Near Glendale Ave

Phoenix, AZ (February 18, 2020) – A multi-vehicle crash blocked the left lanes of southbound Interstate 17 before Glendale Avenue and resulted in injuries on Wednesday afternoon.

Local authorities said that the crash occurred when multiple sedans collided with an RV in the left lanes of I-17 southbound around 4:30 p.m. Fire rescue and police units were on the scene to assist injured victims and determine the cause of the wreck, though they have not released the drivers’ information. The extent of the injuries sustained remains unknown; however, it appears that at least one victim was treated at the scene by EMTs.

The accident remains under investigation.
