Phoenix, AZ (March 3, 2020) – A man has died after a Phoenix hit-and-run crash that occurred early Tuesday morning.

Per reports from officers with the Phoenix Police Department, the collision occurred near 43rd Avenue and McDowell Road around 6:30 a.m. The pedestrian, whose name police have not released, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The driver who struck the victim fled the area before police arrived. Investigators are still working on a vehicle description.

The crash remains under investigation.
