Phoenix, AZ – Injury Crash Blocks L-101 North of Cactus Rd

Phoenix, AZ (September 1, 2019) – An injury wreck blocked the right lane of Loop 101, just north of Cactus Road, early Sunday morning, September 1.

Officials say that the wreck involved at least two vehicles, one of which ran off the road. The cars collided in the right lanes of L-101 northbound, also known as the Pima Freeway, near Cactus Road around 3:30 a.m. Fire rescue units and police were on the scene, assisting injured victims and investigating the cause of the wreck. However, authorities have not released the drivers’ information.

All lanes reopened by 5:00 a.m.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.

Injury Wrecks in Arizona

Of the total accidents that occurred in Arizona last year, more than half involved multiple injured victims. In fact, data released by the Arizona Department of Transportation showed that more than 55,000 car accidents occurred, which resulted in more than 25,000 injuries in 2018 alone.

Serious accidents, especially those that occur as a result of other drivers’ negligence, can have tragic effects on victims and their families. Whether it’s medical bills and long-term injuries or even job loss, devastating circumstances may plague victims and their families. Thankfully, those affected can contact a Phoenix personal injury lawyer for help, and in some cases, victims may seek the fair compensation they deserve from wrongful death or personal injury lawsuit.
