Phoenix, AZ (January 9, 2020) – The westbound lanes of Interstate 10 at Interstate 17 in Phoenix were closed and injuries were reported following an apparent truck accident on Thursday. 

According to officials from the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the crash happened just before 10:00 p.m. Officers say that a commercial truck crashed and collided with another vehicle near the I-10 and I-17 Stack Interchange.

At least one victim was transported to an area hospital by Phoenix paramedics, but their identifying information and current condition have not been released.

It is unclear what caused the crash, though the accident remains under investigation at this time
