Phoenix, AZ (June 23, 2020) – Multiple cars collided in the northbound lanes of Interstate 17 at Happy Valley Road in Phoenix on Tuesday, resulting in at least one injured person.

According to reports from the Phoenix Police Department, the incident occurred near the area of I-17 at the Happy Valley Road off-ramp. It appears that a pickup truck collided with at least one other sedan in the left lanes of traffic, causing a chain-reaction crash in the area. Phoenix paramedics and fire rescue units arrived at the scene shortly after the crash occurred, around 3:30 p.m., to treat victims.

The drivers’ information, as well as any other injured victims’ information, has not been released at this time. The accident remains under investigation.
