Phoenix, AZ (November 15, 2020) – Deputies from the Phoenix Police Department responded to a two-vehicle crash on I-10 at 83rd Avenue on Sunday afternoon.

Officials say the accident happened on Interstate 10 eastbound in the greater Phoenix area. Police officers were dispatched to the scene of the accident around 5:30 p.m., near the 83rd Avenue exit. The vehicles involved were traveling in the right and center lanes of I-10 when they collided in an apparent rear-end accident.

Though officers with the Phoenix Police Department have not released extensive details regarding the crash, initial reports indicated that at least two cars were involved in the crash.

Ambulances and fire rescue units were on the scene and appeared to either treat one victim at the scene or transport at least one person to an area medical center via ambulance. However, the victims’ information and current conditions have not been released.
