Phoenix, AZ (March 19, 2020) – A multi-vehicle crash on Thursday night blocked the right lane of L-101 near 16th Street, resulting in at least one injured victim.

According to authorities, the injury accident occurred when several vehicles traveling northbound on L-101, also known as the Pima Freeway, collided around 8:50 p.m. Fire rescue and police units responded to the scene to assist the victims and investigate the cause of the crash. At least two vehicles appeared to be involved in the wreck, though it’s unclear how the wreck occurred at this time.

Officials are still investigating the cause of the accident but have not released the victims’ information.
