Phoenix, AZ – Injuries Reported in Multi-Car Crash on I-17 at Glendale Ave
Phoenix, AZ (December 28, 2019) – A multi-vehicle crash blocked the middle lanes of northbound Interstate-17 before Glendale Avenue and resulted in injuries on Saturday evening.
Local authorities said that the crash occurred when multiple sedans collided in the middle lanes of I-17 northbound around 9:30 p.m. Fire rescue and police units were on the scene to assist injured victims and determine the cause of the wreck, though they have not released the drivers’ information. The extent of the injuries sustained remains unknown, but it appears that at least one victim was transported to an area medical center via ambulance.
The accident remains under investigation.
