Phoenix, AZ (January 27, 2020) – A multi-vehicle crash that caused injuries on Monday night blocked the left lanes of Interstate 17 at the start of the Thomas Road off-ramp.

Authorities were at the scene of the accident, which occurred when two vehicles traveling northbound collided on I-17, also known as the Black Canyon Freeway, around 8:40 p.m. Fire rescue units and Phoenix police authorities were on the scene, and paramedics treated injured victims.

At least two vehicles appear to be involved in the accident, including an SUV and a sedan.

The crash remains under investigation at this time, and further details about the drivers have not been released.
