Phoenix, AZ (June 9, 2020) – Officers with the Phoenix Police Department are investigating a crash that left several adults injured on Sunday.

Emergency crews were called to the scene of the crash, which occurred at 7th Street and Camelback Road around 5:00 a.m. Per reports from the Phoenix Police Department, three people in a Honda were traveling northbound on 7th Street when the driver of the car failed to stop for a red light and crashed with a Chevy truck heading eastbound on Camelback Road.

Three people inside the Honda sustained serious injuries, and one adult who was in the vehicle is currently listed in critical condition at the hospital.

Two people traveling in the truck suffered minor injuries. Police say the driver of the Honda showed signs of impairment but an arrest hasn’t been made yet.

An investigation remains ongoing at this time.
