Phoenix, AZ – Fatality Reported in Multi-Vehicle Crash at 7th St & Dunlap Ave

Phoenix, AZ (March 11, 2020) – One man is dead and another is injured after a multi-vehicle crash that happened around 5:00 p.m. near 7th Street and Dunlap Avenue.

Phoenix police say a white sedan was traveling southbound on 7th Street and was attempting to make a left turn onto Dunlap Avenue when a white pickup truck collided with the sedan. The impact of the collision then caused the sedan to collide with a third vehicle, which appeared to be a white minivan.

The driver of the truck was transported to the hospital and is expected to survive. There were two people inside the sedan, and the male passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. The 45-year-old female driver was taken to the hospital, though her injuries were not life-threatening.

The two occupants of the minivan were not hurt.

Police say it’s not yet known whether impairment might have been a factor. Phoenix police are still investigating at this time.

Our condolences go out to the family of the deceased victim. Our thoughts are with the injured victims in hopes of a full recovery.
