Phoenix, AZ – Crash Seriously Injures Three Near 87th Ave & Indian School Rd

Phoenix, AZ (July 22, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident on Sunday night, July 21st, left three seriously injured.

A child and two other victims were rushed to the hospital after a car crashed into a home in west Phoenix, near 87th Avenue and Indian School Road. According to Phoenix Fire Department officials who responded, the incident happened around 9:15 p.m. Rescue crews discovered a vehicle upside down in the garage area of a home. After the crash, a 21-year-old man, 17-year-old girl, and 1-year-old child were transported to area hospitals.

Officials said their conditions were not immediately available but they are expected to survive. No one inside the home was hurt.

Phoenix police are investigating the cause of the crash at this time but commented that the collision was “intentional” and the driver has since been detained.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recoveries.

Injury Crashes in Arizona

A 2018 report released by the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) showed that serious car accidents, involving injuries or fatalities, are on the rise. Nearly 55,000 injuries and more than 1,000 fatalities occurred from collisions across the state last year. And data from the ADOT shows that the summer season brings more traffic to Arizona roads, leading to an increased risk of these dangerous accidents.

Car crash victims and their families suffer tragic, unforeseen circumstances, like long-term injuries, costly medical bills, and even job loss. But those affected by these dangerous incidents can contact a Phoenix accident lawyer for help, and in some cases, get the justice they deserve from a personal injury or death lawsuit.
