Phoenix, AZ (October 3, 2019) – Around 1:15 p.m. today, a chain-reaction collision took place in the westbound lanes of US-60 in Phoenix.

Police have not yet commented on the circumstances leading up to the collision but, upon arrival, found that three vehicles had collided with one another. The vehicle in front had been heading into a turning lane when it was struck by a black sedan followed by a white pickup truck.

Police have not yet confirmed if the accident was caused by a driver who was following too closely or another related reason. 

According to authorities, paramedics were immediately dispatched to the scene so that they could assist those with injuries. Unfortunately, we do not know the victims’ conditions at this time.

An investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
