Phoenix, AZ – Car Crash Blocks Right Lanes on L-101 Near McDowell


Phoenix, AZ (July 10, 2019) – An auto accident on Tuesday afternoon, July 9th, blocked the right lanes on Loop 101 southbound near McDowell Road.

According to officials, the incident occurred between McDowell Road and Chaparral Road on Loop 101. Reports indicated that the injury accident occurred at approximately 5:29 p.m, appearing to involve multiple vehicles traveling southbound in the right lanes.

Fire Rescue and Police Units were dispatched to the scene to assist the victims of the vehicle accident. All lanes re-opened around 6:00 p.m., though the updated condition of the injured victim(s) and their information have not been released.

Crews were on scene investigating the cause of the car crash.
