Phoenix, AZ (April 4, 2020) – Injuries were reported on southbound Interstate 17 near Anthem and New River after a multi-vehicle crash on Saturday, according to transportation officials.

Authorities say the accident happened just before 3:00 p.m. At that time, several vehicles collided and blocked the center lanes, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Phoenix EMTs were at the scene and appeared to have transported one victim to the hospital, though that victim’s current condition remains unknown.
