Phoenix, AZ (September 27, 2019) – On Friday evening, a three-vehicle crash resulted in several injuries and sent at least one person to the hospital.
According to officials from the Phoenix Police Department, at least three vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred on Interstate 17 northbound near Bethany Home Road. Authorities say the collision occurred when the vehicles were traveling in the left lane and the HOV lane. The two of the vehicles collided and struck another vehicle after the initial accident. Phoenix Paramedics were on the scene around 7:25 p.m. and transported one victim to a local area hospital.
All three vehicles appeared to sustain extensive damage, and one was towed from the scene. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash at this time.
