Phoenix, AZ – 3-Car Accident Causes Injuries on I-17 at Bethany Home Rd
Phoenix, AZ (February 17, 2020) – On Monday afternoon, a three-vehicle crash resulted in several injuries and traffic backups on I-17 at Bethany Home Road.
According to officials from the Phoenix Police Department, at least three vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred on Interstate 17 northbound near Bethany Home Road.
Authorities say the collision occurred when the vehicles were traveling on the ramp from Bethany Home Road. Two of the vehicles collided and struck another vehicle in an apparent chain-reaction event after the initial accident. Phoenix Paramedics were on the scene around 6:45 p.m. to treat victims.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash at this time.
