Phoenix, AZ (February 27, 2020) – Police are investigating an accident that occurred on Thursday night in Phoenix.

According to officers from the Phoenix Police Department, the vehicle crashed into a pole shortly before 9:00 p.m. at the intersection of 19th Avenue and Vineyard Road, located near Baseline Road. Police were seen surrounding a dark-colored car slammed against a light pole. A man and woman were taken to a local hospital via ambulance with serious injuries, but both are expected to survive. 

It is unknown whether speeding or impairment are factors in the crash, though the investigation is ongoing at this time.
