Phoenix, AZ – 2-Car Accident on I-10 Blocks Left Lane

Phoenix, AZ (October 3, 2019) – Around 3:30 p.m. this afternoon, police responded to the scene of a two-car accident on Interstate 10 in Phoenix.

Police said the accident occurred when a silver sedan was following a red sedan too closely and struck them in the rear of their vehicle.

The drivers were unable to move their vehicles onto the shoulder following the collision because the damage to both their cars was significant. This caused the left lane of traffic to become backed up in the area for quite some time.

Police, paramedics, and firefighters assisted at the scene of the accident. Police did not comment on how many were injured or the extent of their injuries.

No other information has been released regarding the accident. However, the investigation is ongoing at this time.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families in hopes of a full recovery.
